Rolling Hills

A private, gated community located in the center of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, this is a ranch style, equestrian community with large lots and horse trails winding throughout the community. There are restrictions on what one can do with one’s property. In order to build a home, you may only move dirt around on the existing lot rather than exporting or importing it. Another restriction is the color of the exterior of the homes. The joke is that you can paint your home any color you like as long as it is white. The 2000 population of Rolling Hills was 1871.
